Form LMS sends email notifications directly to users. You can edit notifications within a workspace to tailor the learner experience.
✅ Before you start: You need the Site admin or Admin role.
Edit a notification
Go to Setup → Notifications to view the list of notifications.
Search: Use the search bar in the top left corner. You can search by category, trigger, recipient, or subject.
Status toggle: The Status column shows whether a notification is Active or Inactive. Use the toggle to switch between them and deactivate unwanted notifications.
Edit: Click Edit on a notification to reveal its title, subject, and content.
- Title: The notification title is visible to administrators only.
- Subject: This becomes the email subject line. You can change it to something more personalised.
- Content: The body of the email message.
- Dynamic tags: Some notifications include dynamic tags formatted {{ like this }}. These pull live data from Form, such as a learner's first name or an event name. To add a dynamic tag, select one from the dropdown menu in the top right of the text editor. It inserts into the line you are currently editing.
- Save: Click Update at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
- Reset: Click Reset to restore the notification to its previous state. This erases any changes you made.
- Close: Click Close to leave without saving. Your draft changes still show if you click View on the notification, but the live notification is not updated.
ℹ️ Unsaved changes disappear if you leave the notifications page.
