You can match external training records to existing courses in your catalogue. This enables the continuation of ongoing learning using workflows either when you first migrate to Form LMS or simply add external records to learners.
â Before you start: You need the Site admin or Admin role.
Trigger workflows using external training records
- Go to People â Workflows.
- Click Create workflow.
- Enter a name and description for the workflow.
- Select the audience: Organisation Units or Groups.
- Select the course learners must complete to trigger the workflow. You can see which courses are matched to external training records.
- Click Advanced search to view a table of courses in Form and the external training records matched to each one.
- Anyone who has completed a matched external training record is assigned to this workflow, provided they meet the criteria.
- Select how long after completion the workflow should trigger.
- Select the course learners will be enrolled onto when the workflow triggers.
- Click Create.
âšī¸ If the external record's completion date falls outside the enrolment interval, the workflow does not trigger an enrolment. See Workflows (Automatic Re-enrolments) for more information on enrolment intervals.
