This weeks new releases include event booking improvements, first time login improvements, password reset improvements and user password management.
Event booking improvements
Admins now have the ability to book more people onto an event that has exceeded the booking limit.
This gives admins further control with booking learners onto a session, especially for those that might show a substantial amount of interest.
First time login improvements
Now when users first login to their system, they must change their password from the coded password they are initially given via email.
This should help avoid forgotten passwords and improve the usability when first logging in.
Password reset improvements
When a password is forgotten and a reset is required, the user will receive a verification code via email to be able to reset their password.
This greatly improves the security of the users profile as only the user can receive this email.
User password management
Admins now have the ability to reset passwords and two factor authentication for users if any user find they can not access the system.
This will send a verification code to the user so they may continue to reset their password.
Some of the features coming in our next releases.
Learner dashboard enhancements
Additional to the features existing on the learner dashboard, soon learners will be able to view their events history.
Showing all of a users history will expose all of the events they have completed and have not completed, so references can be made when needed.
Basic course creation
The first feature for the new LMS is in progress that is, course creation and is set to be released soon.
In the first release, Course creators will be able to build basic courses with information and modules included. The usability of building courses will be greatly simplified so course building can be a swift and painless task.
More is to be shared on this topic very soon.
