Navigation, notifications layout, venue visibility across workspaces, media library and improvements.
We have modified the top-level navigation bar to make it more intuitive. The navigation is now made up of four tabs: Events, Setup, Reports and your profile icon.
The Events tab contains all the features relating to event booking, including: Calendar, Events, Venues and Rooms.
Setup now contains all of the administrator settings, including: Achievements, Notifications and the new Media library.
Reports is where you can access all your reporting; currently it includes events reports and session reports, as new reports are added you will find them here.
Your profile icon is where you can access your personal information, security settings and history.
Email notifications have a new table layout with the following columns: category, trigger, recipient, subject and status.
The new layout makes it much easier to search, filter and sort this table to find and update all email notification templates.
This table will also allow notifications to be toggled active or inactive and are globally editable.
Venue visibility across workspaces
Administrators can now share visibility and therefore availability of venues and rooms across selected workspaces, giving you greater visibility and management of venue and room usage.
Administrators now have access to the new media library.
The media library allows users to upload and manage images on a Workspace.
The media library can be found under Setup and will also be made available when adding images to events, venues and rooms for example.
In future releases, the media library will be extended to allow uploading of multiple file types which can then be shared across multiple workspaces.
Automatic course enrolment
For customers of Blue LMS who also have Event booking, users will now automatically be enrolled onto a course when booking onto an event, simplifying the process for end users.
Bug fixes and improvements
For our customers who currently use both Blue LMS and the Event Booking system, we've improved the way events are added to courses.
Whether you are viewing the event in the new Events system or from within Blue LMS course management, you will be directed to add the event as a module from within the course to maintain a consistent experience.
Some of the features coming in our next release.
Trainers will soon have access to a dashboard view of all their tasks, such as upcoming events, registers and assessments to complete and feedback to fill in giving your trainers a clear view of their upcoming workload.
We have listened our customers and responded with improvements to filtering on Events.
Soon users will be able to filter events by venue and room separately in the calendar and events views, making events easier to find in specific locations.
User management view
A view of all users within a Workspace will soon be available for administrators, where they can manage all users' details and easily update accounts or change the status of an account from active, inactive and expired.
