You can add custom emails to online courses instead of the default ones. This guide shows you how to do this.
How to add custom emails to courses
To add a custom email template to a specific Course, navigate to Courses/Manage Courses and then click the Edit icon. In this example we are changing the Course Completion email, but the process is the same for Reminders etc.
Next, click on the Emails concertina from the left hand navigation section.
Once the type of email has been clicked/selected, you can now change the Default option, by clicking the Custom radio button. Next click the arrow icon, highlighted above, which will display all the custom emails for that category, just click in the radio button and then click Select template.
Lastly, click Save changes to keep the association just chosen. This needs to be done on a course level, so it may require that you Edit a number of courses, to make the selection.
