Learn how to assign a user to an organisation unit in Form LMS.
✅ Before you start: You need the Site admin or Admin role.
Organisation units are hierarchical structures within the workspace. Users can be assigned and grouped within them. If the unit has an auto-enrolment rule, the user is automatically enrolled on those courses.
Assign a user to an organisation unit
You can assign a user to a unit when inviting them. You can also edit an existing user to add or move them.
- Go to Users. Click the three-dot menu next to the user and select Edit.
- In the left navigation panel, choose Org unit and Groups.
- Search for and select the unit you want to assign the user to. If the unit has auto-enrolment rules, the enrolments display on the page. Leave any courses selected to enrol the learner on save.
- Click Save changes at the top right of the page.
The user is now assigned to the selected organisation unit.
