Access the Update system security settings menu through System settings in the Setup menu.
Force password change
This setting means users must change the system generated password which they are assigned for their first login. This will mean users can enter a more memorable password.
Password security
Rules surrounding password security can be set, including; minimum password length, characters which must be included and the interval after which users must change their password.
Maximum failed login attempts
The maximum permissible failed login attempts can be set along with the amount of time the user's account will be suspended for if the failed login limit its met.
User account inactivity
It is possible to set a limit of days after which user's accounts will be closed if they are inactive. After the limit has been met, users will receive an email informing them their account has been closed. For no limit, this can be left as 0.
User timeout interval
A time limit can be set for user inactivity. If a logged-in account remains active for a period of time exceeding this limit it will be automatically logged out.
