Note: It is imperative you understand the consequences of altering courses with newer versions of modules, please contact helpdesk@melearning.co.uk if unsure, as there is a key difference between adding new modules to new courses and updating existing modules on existing courses.
If you have purchased the full LMS, you will have the ability to upload your own SCORM content and create your own courses.
- SCORM versions supported 1.2, 2004 v3
- The maximum file size for a single file upload is 500MB.
Modules contained within the system can be viewed, uploaded, previewed and deleted through Manage modules which is located within the Courses menu.
Note: modules within courses which have been supplied by Me Learning will not appear here as they are hosted by the course providers.
Modules can be searched for using the search box or Module filters can be applied.
Module filters
Category: the category filter contains course tags which can be selected to narrow down the list of modules displayed. These can be added, edited and deleted through Manage tags.
Subject: the subject filter contains subjects applied to modules. Subjects can be added, edited and deleted through Manage subject.
Provider: The provider filter contains courseware providers within the system. These can be added, edited and deleted through Manage provider.
Manage modules table
Module name: this is the name which will appear for learners when the module is used within a course.
Module ID: the unique identifier for the module within the system.
Subject: module subjects are displayed in this column.
Type: it is possible to upload modules of various types. For more information on module types, please see below.
Duration: the length of time the module will take for a learner to complete.
Delete: it is not possible to delete modules which are in use within a course, they must be removed before deletion.
Edit: module details can be edited from here.
Usage: displays which courses, if any, the module is in use within.
Preview: this will launch the module for a quick preview.
