Courses and modules of all types must have a Provider assigned to them. A provider is selected when creating a course.
Access Manage providers through the Organisation menu:
Providers are displayed within a table and can be searched for and sorted if required.
From here, course type provision can be selected for each provider. The course types are: Stand-alone, Enhanced course and Classroom. An organisation may be set as a provider of one, two, or all three of these course types. Choosing a course type will cause the provider to appear in the Provider drop down menu when creating a course.
Provider details can be edited by selecting the pencil icon in the Edit column.
If a provider has been assigned to one or more courses it must first be unassigned before deletion is possible.
By clicking the tick or cross icon in the Status column, providers can be activated and deactivated as required. A deactivated provider will not appear as an option for assignment when creating a course.
Providers can be added with the Add provider button and information such as address, logo, brochure and other contact information can be added.
